Le Havre

Calvados Shopkeeper in Honfleur

The city of Le Havre was devastated during World War II.  But today, Le Havre is France’s second port after the city of Marseille.  The city is now a major commercial center and a major ferry port.

And of course, Le Havre is our port of call and our gateway to Normandy, and to the D-Day Landing Beaches, the lovely towns of Giverny and Honfleur, and the magnificent capital of France ~ the City of Light ~ Paris.
