Floyen Troll

Bergen, commonly called “the Gateway to the Fjords”, is Norway’s second city and perhaps its fairest city.

When you come to Bergen, be sure not to miss the 13th century Rosenkrantz Tower, as well as Håkon’s Hall and the Bryggen.  Today, this old waterfront district is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

And don’t forget to take the funicular ride up to the top of Fløyen mountain for spectacular views over the city.  Just be mindful of the many trolls who live up there!
