Aruba

Aruban Tranquility

xx

Aruba is a tiny island.  It is only 20 miles long and 6 miles across at its widest point.  It is just slightly larger than Washington D.C..  Aruba is the westernmost of the Dutch ABC Islands – Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.  And the island is only 20 miles north of Venezuela.

Aruba is an island of extremes.  Let’s face it.  Aruba is known for its beautiful beaches.  Powdery white sand and turquoise blue waters.  However, away from the beaches, Aruba is a desert island, filled with cacti, iguana and strange boulder formations.  And that’s not all.  At Aruba’s northern coastline, you’ll find limestone cliffs, sand dunes and crashing surf.

Yes, indeed.  Aruba is an island of extremes.
